Why was the ARYAN invasion theory propounded by the Russian sponsored Communist + Jihadi historians?

Reason is indeed sinister. To convince the Hindus that they are incapable of ruling themselves and hence have to be ruled by foreigners.

Both “Arya” and “Dravida” are Sanskrit words.

“Arya” means a “gentleman” and “Dravida” means a good and civilized person in Sanskrit.

BUT, lets analyze the correctness of this theory on historical facts.

What is the historical ground of the theory?

  1. The Indus Valley Civilization, also known as the Harappan civilization or Indus civilization, was a Bronze Age civilization in the northwestern regions of South Asia, lasting from 3300 BCE to 1300 BCE, and in its mature form from 2600 BCE to 1900 BCE.  It flourished in the basins of the Indus River, which flows through the length of Pakistan. The civilization’s cities were noted for their urban planning, baked brick houses, elaborate drainage systems, water supply systems, clusters of large non-residential buildings, and new techniques in handicraft (carnelian products, seal carving) and metallurgy (copper, bronze, lead, and tin).
  2. The great civilization declined. Around 1900 BCE signs of a gradual decline began to emerge, and by around 1700 BCE most of the cities had been abandoned. In 1953 Sir Mortimer Wheeler proposed that the invasion of an Indo-European tribe from Central Asia, the “Aryans”, caused the decline of the Indus Civilization. As evidence, he cited a group of 37 skeletons found in various parts of Mohenjo-daro, and passages in the Vedas referring to battles and forts. However, scholars soon started to reject Wheeler’s theory, since the skeletons belonged to a period after the city’s abandonment and none were found near the citadel. Subsequent examinations of the skeletons by Kenneth Kennedy in 1994 showed that the marks on the skulls were caused by erosion, and not by violence.

Why the theory is wrong? There are several reasons.

  1. Along with Indus river, the SWRASWATI river played a big role in the development of the civilization. This is obvious from the fact that: there are multiple mentions of the river in early Vedas like Rig Veda, where as there is no such mention of the river in later Vedas like Atharva Veda.
  2. Around the same time the Civilization collapsed, the mighty SWRASWATI river had dried.
  3. The drying of the river resulted to people abandoning the cities and moving to the Gangetic plains (in modern day UP, Bengal, Bangladesh) and gradually to Central and South India.

Hence, in the book “The Sarasvati Civilization: A Paradigm Shift in Ancient Indian History“, the author has argued that Indus valley civilization should be called the SARASWATI civilization.  60-80 % of the so-called Indus Valley Civilization sites which have been discovered are not on the banks of the Indus but on the course of the Sarasvati.

And since the river dried up, the cities were abandoned. Not due to invasion.

There are also other evidences:

  1. None of the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas etc. speak about such a civilizational destruction due to foreign invasion. Had there been gruesome killings and destruction, they would have surely found mention in Hindu scriptures. In absence of such mentions, it is clear that the decline was natural and gradual.
  2. The word “Arya” is a respected word in India even today. Devoted wives refer their husbands as “Arya”. Had the Aryans been dacoits, rapists and pillagers, would a devoted wife ever use such a word for her husband?
  3. There is not even a slight mention of “Aryans” fighting and driving out the “Dravidians” in the Tamil Sangam literature which dates back to as early as 600BC.
  4. The Russian sponsored left historians argue that the Aryans came with horses and since the people in Indus valley civilization did not use horses, they were easily defeated. But, lately it has been found that horses (and even horse pulled chariots) were used in Indus (or Saraswati) Civilization.
  5. A recent genome sequencing study done by a group of researchers in Harvard university across people in 13 states finds that all Indians are genetically connected and there is no difference in genetics across North and South.

Hence, we need to demolish the sinister Aryan invasion theory which is nothing but a white lie.
