Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) is going to build a hi-tech city named New Murabba in the center of capital Riyadh. It is a part of his dream project Vision 2030. The government of Saudi Arabia has also released a video of this proposed city, in which the features of this hi-tech city and the big building Mukaab have been told. But people are raising questions on the structure of this building. Especially the Muslims are very angry seeing this and are condemning the Saudi Arabian government.
People are arguing that the structure of this Muqaab building resembles the Kaaba, the holiest place of Muslims. Muqaab and Kaaba mean the same thing in Arabic – cuboidal shape. Some people even wrote on social media that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is building a separate Kaaba for himself, which is for entertainment. Mohammed bin Salman had announced the launch of New Marmalade Development Company on Thursday itself. Under this, the world’s most hi-tech city is to be built in Riyadh.
A gateway to another world: #TheMukaab will be the world’s first immersive, experiential destination. Large enough to hold 20 Empire State Buildings, the global icon will feature innovative technologies to transport you to new worlds.#NewMurabbahttps://t.co/5R4DqQdPyS pic.twitter.com/vr9M8cTI1I

It was said in the report that this city named Murabba will have a Design and Technology University, Museum, Big Theater and other entertainment and cultural centers. Paths will be made for walking here and special care will be taken for greenery.
What are the features?
It has been said in the report that this giant building named Mukab will prove to be a milestone. All types of techniques will be used in this. It will be 400 meters long, 400 meters wide and 400 meters high. This would be equivalent to 20 buildings like the Empire State Building in New York. A big spiral tower will also be constructed in its center.
Sovereign Wealth Fund, Public Investment Fund is responsible for completing this dream project of Saudi Prince. It is being built keeping Vision 2030 in mind. It is believed that this will bring a profit of $50 billion to the economy of Saudi Arabia. This will provide three lakh 34 thousand direct and indirect jobs.
Islamists are criticizing
Islamists are fiercely criticizing this ambitious project of Saudi Prince. Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Hachimi Al-Hamidi tweeted, ‘Is Mohammed bin Salman building his own Kaaba in Riyadh? He has decided this design for his new project… It means this is the new Kaaba of entertainment.

Building a new Kabaa exclusively devoted to capitalism is a little too on the nose. https://t.co/qQtwxoFYdd

"When Bin Salman stood on top of the holy Kaaba in Mecca in 2019, it was almost symbolic of his intention to subjugate the Islamic influences in #SaudiArabia. Today he has embarked on another symbolic challenge in announcing plans to build a new 'Kaaba' of entertainment" pic.twitter.com/lOCH7N3lH2

The Intercept reporter Murtaza Hussain said in his tweet, ‘A new Kaaba is being built, dedicated to capitalism.’ Although some people have also defended it. They argue that many buildings in the world are in cube shape, so have they all become Kaaba.
