Pakistan’s erstwhile ISI Cheif Lt Gen Zahir-ul-Islam is a distant relative of Shah Nawaz Khan of the Indian National Army (INA), and through him, he has a tenuous connection to Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.
According to renowned Pakistani defense analyst Ikram Sehgal, Islam’s father was a brigadier in the Pakistani Army and his uncle, Shah Nawaz Khan, was a major general in the Indian National Army (INA) under the command of Subhas Chandra Bose.
Sehgal stated while describing the new ISI chief’s extended family in detail revealed, “One son of Shah Nawaz Khan went with him at the time of Partition, while another, Mahmood Nawaz, stayed on in Pakistan and became a full colonel. In fact, Mahmood Nawaz went and met his father only after retirement as he could not travel to India while he was in service.”
Sehgal added, “In fact, Mahmood Nawaz went and met his father only after retirement as he could not travel to India while he was in service.”
According to Shahrukh Khan’s biography, Lateef Fatima, the late actor’s mother, was Shah Nawaz Khan’s adopted child.
The Father of Zahir Ul Islam was a general in the Pakistani Army when he came there in 1947. His son, Shahrukh’s uncle, rose to the position of ISI chief in Pakistan. Because of this connection, Americans closely monitor Shahrukh Khan’s and his son Aryan Khan’s narcotics connections.
Due to these links, every time Shahrukh visits the US—even when invited by a US fleabag university—Homeland Security strips him down to his underwear and conducts a complete cavity search.
Although the US CIA has close ties to the Pakistani ISI and Army and turns a blind eye to their acts of terrorism in this region of the world, they are wary of granting ISI access to US soil after an ISI agent named Animal Kasi, who was twice tracked by the CIA, flew to Langley, Virginia, entered the CIA headquarters, and then blew himself up, killing multiple CIA agents in one shot, during a previous era.
Since then Bollywood start is on US Intel radar.
