A horrifying example of love jihad has surfaced in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. The accused, Kalu Khan, and two other people threatened the victim’s mother, claiming they would take her daughter on July 15, when she became an adult. They claimed they would since doing so would earn them a 25 lakh rupee reward from their group for marrying a Hindu girl and converting her to Islam.

The accused further warned that the girl’s family would suffer the same fate as Kanhaiya Lal if they attempted to intervene in the case. At the Jaisinghpura Khor police station in Jaipur, a case has been reported, and an investigation into the issue of love jihad has been started.

The victim’s mother reported the crime to the police. In her complaint, she said that Asalan and Kalu Khan routinely harassed her young daughter while she attended a school in the Chaksu neighbourhood. Police discovered the youngster was also kidnapped by them approximately a year before. A few days later, the suspect kidnapped the girl once more. Later, Mansarovar police located her and took her to a refuge house. She has stayed there ever since.

Salman, Kalu Khan, and Aslan threatened to abduct the girl again on July 7 because she would be 18 on that date. If the woman and her husband refused, they would suffer the same fate as Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur.

According to the girl’s mother, the accused allegedly threatened to kill the girl or divorce her after their marriage because he was just about to wed her in order to collect the 25 lakhs that their community rewards them for marrying a Hindu girl.

SHO for the Jaisinghpura Khor Police Station According to Satpal Yadav, the police have been informed of the complaint and are looking into it. He claimed that past instances of identical threats had been reported to the police.
