Rama Devi, a member of parliament for the BJP, criticized Tejashwi Yadav’s family on Monday (August 29) for allegedly planning the murder of her husband Brij Behari Prasad. Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the RJD, threatened to discipline BJP leader Nityanand Rai, prompting her to respond. In a press conference, Yadav used the word “Thanda Kar Denge” to describe how he and his party handle political rivals.

Speaking to the news organization ANI, she remarked, “I know several people who the RJD has silenced by murder. My husband, Brij Behari Prasad, was one of them. They feared that he might become the Chief Minister of the State. I am here to respond to these people. They (Tejashwi Yadav and his family) must be ashamed of themselves. The public can see through their nepotism.”

Rama Devi clarified, “Yes, they killed my husband,” when asked about the Yadav family’s alleged involvement in the murder of her spouse. There is no question in my mind. They used their stooges to murder my husband.

“For this reason, they are attempting to reinstate the “Jungle Raj” era. Nitish Kumar is now involved in it, she continued. Brij Behari Prasad, Rama Devi’s spouse, belonged to the Rashtriya Janata Dal. He had been the science and technology minister for Bihar.

He was killed in Patna’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences parking lot on June 13, 1998. Prasad was allegedly murdered by the mobster Chhotan Shukla’s accomplice.

The leader of the RJD and BJP MP Nityanand Rai have been exchanging insults for some time. Recently, Tejashwi Yadav threatened Rai after CBI raids at the homes of key party leaders.

We will teach you a lesson and make you sober, Delhi wale bachane nahi aayenge,” Tejashwi Yadav had said, expressing concern about Rai’s rise in the State. The Delhi leaders won’t come to your defense).

According to reports, the RJD leader believes Nityanand Rai is responsible for the CBI raids on the homes of his party’s officials in the land-for-job case. In addition, he feels threatened by Rai’s probable CM run in the Bihar elections in 2025.

Nevertheless, the BJP leader told Tejashwi Yadav, “Hamko thandaa do bhai (Please teach me a lesson). Bhains ka doodh peene se log thanda ho jaate hain (I have heard that people w become calm and sober after drinking buffalo’s milk).”
