Megastar Amitabh Bachchan And Son Abhishek Bachchan Test Covid19 Positive

Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan test positive for Covid19. Rumors began circulating when on Saturday evening legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati hospital. The Nanavati hospital says that ‘Big B’ has complains of breathing problems and mild fever.

Both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are currently undergoing treatment in the Nanavati hospital. Amitabh Bachchan has always been vocal about his ailments including tuberculosis and Hepatitis B. After testing positive for Covid19, Big B shared this news on his Twitter handle. He also requests those who were in his close proximity during the last 10 days to get themselves tested.

“I have tested CoviD positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing  authorities. The family and staff underwent tests , results awaited.

All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !” 

Amitabh Bachchan’s son and actor Abhishek Bachchan also took to Twitter to inform about his Covid positive status. He requests fans to stay calm and not to panic. “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us are having mild symptoms. We have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities. Our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”

Amitabh Bachchan has been leading the fight against Covid19 since the shadow of the novel virus covered the nation. He actively raised awareness about how to keep oneself safe from the coronavirus. Through his several poetries and advertisements he encouraged the entire nation to fight the Covid19.

Condition Stable.

The PRO of Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital says that Amitabh Bachchan’s condition is stable. He has mild symptoms of the novel coronavirus and is currently in the isolation ward of the hospital. The entire nation knows about the veteran actor’s health conditions which is raising concerns among the fans.

Doctor Ansari, Director of Nanavati hospital is treating the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Dr. Ansari says that Amitabh Bachchan’s symptoms are mild and he will surely win this battle against Covid19. He also says that in a short while Big B himself will share the news of his condition through his Twitter handle.

As soon as the news of Amitabh and Abhishek testing positive for Covid19 broke out, fans and friends started pouring in wishes for their speedy recovery. The rest of the family members that include Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and her daughter Aradhaya Bachchan test negative for Covid19. The antigen test for the rest of the family members is negative. Though the family members are awaiting the swab test results.

Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Aradhaya Bachchan have now put themselves in isolation. The BMC teams will visit the Bachchan family today to know about the source of the virus and also about those who have come in contact with the family in the last few days. Abhishek Bachchan informs in a tweet that they are complying with the BMC authorities. “The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them.”

On the workfront, Amitabh Bachchan last appeared in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo which premiered on Amazon Prime due to Covid19 pandemic. Big B’s upcoming Bollywood projects are Brahmastra, Jhund and Chehre. The veteran actor will also be hosting the twelfth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
