Prominent Bollywood actor, Anupam Kher performed ‘shradhdh’ ritual for Kashmiri Pandits who were the victims of Islamic terrorism in the 1990 massacre.

On Wednesday, the actor took to Twitter and announced that he had decided during the shooting of Kashmir files that he would perform peace rituals for those murdered by the Islamic terrorist in the valley in the 1990s.

For the serenity of the departed spirits, the actor did ‘tripindi shradh’ along with chanting of mantras accompanied by the ritualistic ceremony. Brahma Sena organized the event, which took place in Pichash Mochan Teerth in Kashi.
Anupam Kher has spoken out on Kashmiri Pandits on various occasions. He’s  greatly appreciated his role in the recent film ‘The Kashmir Files.’

Anupam Kher slams Dainik Bhaskar journalist

Right after Anupam Kher announced on Twitter that he was leaving for Varanasi for the rituals of Kashmir pandits killed in 1990, Rajesh Sahu, a Dainik Bhaskar journalist replied to the actor that he needs to go to Kashmir first as the situation there is bad. Go there and talk to the Governor about the safety of the Pandits.

Anupam Kher slammed Rajesh Sahu saying, “You are a journalist in Dainik Bhaskar! Write an article on how terrorists brutally killed Kashmiri Hindus and raped their mothers, and sisters in Kashmir for the last 35 years! Criticize terror at least.
