Karachi, Pakistan — Power in the capital of Islamabad was finally restored.  The major power outage had resulted in putting most of Pakistan into darkness on Saturday.

However, Such Outages Are common In Pakistan, A very Poorer Country.

According to the Ministry of Water and Power, the cause was due to “technical fault” in the distribution system.  

Those sitting in the dark for hours were – Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Peshawar and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

The reason for this sudden drop is not clear, cites the media.
