Madhya Pradesh govt under the leadership of Shivaraj Singh Chauhan has decided to rename the Habibganj Railway station to Rani Kamlapati Railway station after the 18th Century Gond queen of the area. Earlier Madhya Pradesh govt writes to Centre to rename Bhopal’s Habibganj railway station after the tribal queen, Rani Kamlapati.
The decision to rename Bhopal’s Habibganj railway station after the queen Rani Kamlapati is a welcome step. This will give new identity to women empowerment & honour the contribution of the queen & Tribal people. The terrorism sympathizers seems to be saddened by this move of Madhya Pradesh government and term this move as Fascist and Anti Muslim. These are the same groups who claim themselves as the flag bearers of tribal rights but when it came to honour the queen of tribals they backed off.
