Leftist professional propagandist The Wire is again caught peddling fake news. This time The Wire twisted statements from the Prime Minister’s 92nd episode of “Mann ki baat” in which he is referring to a traditional practice called Bhajan Bhojan in the Datia district of Madhya Pradesh which is performed to eliminate malnutrition.
In the series of festivals coming up, there’s one more which I want to draw your attention to…this one is aimed at eliminating malnutrition. #MannKiBaat pic.twitter.com/na1c24Eg1I

In this episode of Mann ki baat Prime minister is speaking about a traditional practice known as Bhajan Bhojan, which is performed in the Datia district of Madhya Pradesh in which some women from the village bring grains with them to the Anganwadi Kendra, the women and children sign bhajans together, prepare meals in large numbers and feed children.
PM Modi in his 92nd episode of Mann ki Baat discussed about this traditional activity and stated that we need such inspiring programs to eliminate malnutrition.
The Wire twisted Prime Minister’s statement with an intention to mock and posted an article with the headline “Dear PM Modi: Good Food will reduce the burden of malnutrition, not bhajans.” The article goes on to criticize the twisted statement that his remark on bhajans merely serves to draw attention away from the desperate necessity of strong public health initiatives.
Meanwhile, the Bhajan Bhojan practice has been a traditional practice that the people of the Datia district have been celebrating for years. This time under the ‘Mera Bachcha’ campaign and in order to celebrate “Poshan maah”, the tradition had been a part of the government’s initiative.
The ignorance of The Wire shows the sheer disliking of indigenous Hindu practices that they don’t want others to know about a remarkable practice adopted by the indigenous people. The traditional practice of Bhajan Bhojan has been remarkable in fighting malnutrition and encouraging interaction among the community members. Meanwhile, lakhs of Ashrams, Temples, and anganwadis serve food to millions on daily basis followed by bhajans and spiritual music encouraging good deeds.
