Between high degree of violence and conflict between Russia and Ukraine, later today evening Government of India has decided to start the operation of Indian embassy in Kyiv which was operating from Warsaw (Poland). On a press release by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India it is stated that “The Indian Embassy in Ukraine, which was temporarily operating out of Warsaw (Poland), would be resuming its operation in Kyiv w.e.f. 17 May 2022. The Embassy was temporarily relocated to Warsaw on 13 March 2022.”
Followed by this amid the war between two nations India appointed a new ambassador to Ukraine Shri. Harsh Kumar Jain who took his office on 05 April,2022. Lastly the Indian MEA decided to shift the embassy from Warsaw (Poland) after a week of appointing a new ambassador to Ukraine.
