Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has taken major action in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area. NCB has busted a big drug smuggling syndicate in Shaheen Bagh, which includes people of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Indian origin. The Narcotics Control Bureau has seized 50 kg heroin from Shaheen Bagh area, which is said to be worth around Rs 400 crore.

NCB raided Jamia Nagar and recovered 50 kg heroin and 47 kg suspected narcotics from a house. Along with this, NCB has also recovered Rs 30 lakh in the form of cash and note counting machine. During the investigation, it has been found that this heroin was brought to India by way of sea and border by hiding it in tree branches. NCB suspects that the recovered cash has also been brought to India through hawala.

Sanjay Singh, DDG Operations, NCB said, “NCB Delhi Zone seized 50 kg heroin, 47 kg suspected narcotics, 30 lakh drug money along with cash counting machine and other incriminating material from a house in Jamia Nagar, Shaheen Bagh on April 27. of it.” He told that the wires of this syndicate are connected with the cities of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.

Apart from this, DDG) Dnyaneshwar Singh told that earlier also this syndicate has brought drugs to India by hiding drugs in different items. The people associated with this syndicate are experts in manufacturing and adulting, which they also use to dodge the NCB and other agencies. NCB officials said that an Indian-origin person associated with this syndicate has been arrested. Along with this, investigation is also being done in five other cities in this matter.

It is being told that the seizures of heroin and other drugs are similar to those recovered from near Attari border. NCB officials can soon make a big disclosure related to this case with some arrests.
