Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lashed out at the host of a dance reality  show Raghav Juyal, for his racist comments which he made on 6 your old contestant in Dance Deewane 3.

A clip of Dance Deewane 3 went out in which it was seen that the host of the dance show, Raghav Juyal handmade racist comments for 6 year old contestant. Raghav Juyal could be seen mimicking in Chinese and calling the girl by racist words like “momos” and “chowmein”.

Assam chief minister Hemanta Biswas Sharma came out with a statement which condemned the incident of racism happened in the reality show and wrote ” It has come to my notice that a popular reality show host has used racist rhetoric against a young participant from Guwahati. This is shameful and totally unacceptable. Racism has no place in our country and we should all condem it unequivocally.”

It must be noted that on 15th of November, Raghav Juyal had issued a statement justifying his insane remark in the clip that went viral on social media. He said that it was not racism on his part but something that the child had said earlier that led to the joke but Raghav Juyal did not explain the remarks about momos and Chow mein.He said that once the girl had said she can speak in Chinese, which turned out to be gibberish, and since then, it had become an ongoing joke on the show.
