It seems Adani Group is planning to get into the business of Media after the Adani Group announced the appointment of former President and Editorial Director of Quint media Sanjay Pugalia as the head of its media venture. Sanjay Pugalia has worked with BBC radio, Navbharat Times, Zee news,Star news,CNBC and then in 2016 joined the Quint media as the President and Editorial Director.


The Adani Group released a circular which stated that Sanjay Pugalia is going to lead the media venture. Sanjay Pugalia was join the Adani Group as the chief executive officer and Editor in chief. Few days ago the quint media had informed that their President and editorial director Sanjay Pugalia has resigned from his post.

This step can be seen as a paradigm shift in the world of media. There is a huge probability that the Adani group is going to launch a TV and digital media venture. Prior to this move of Adani Group coming into the media market ,Reliance and Amazon had already marked it’s foot steps in the media. Reliance Group has a hand on “News 18” and the Amazon led by Jeff Bezos had earlier purchased “The Washington Post”.
