Mahesh has launched MODI IDLI breakfast camps in Salem, where 4 idlis are sold for only Rs.10. For 4 idlis, they give 200ml of Sambar.

MODI IDLY is creating waves in Salem & has already become the talk of the town.

They started with 500 Idlis on the first day(it got sold out in 10 minutes) & right now they are supplying 8K idlis per day. Their target is 40k idlis /day, they will break even we they touch the 40k mark, which will take few months to reach there.

The MODI IDLI is the perfect low-cost breakfast for the old people of Salem, the daily wage labourers & workers of Salem to begin their day with.

Long ques can be seen at the camps every morning. MODI IDLI makers are also helping local farmers by buying vegetables directly from the farmers. Drumsticks are being procured directly from a farmer in Aravakuruchi near Karur.

One of the biggest wholesale mandis in South India, ‘Leigh Bazaar’ at Salem has invited the TEAM to set up a IDLY counter in their Mandi. Over 5,000 labourers are eagerly looking forward for Modi Idlis.

They maintain highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in their plant. Before entering the kitchen, every kitchen staff is checked for head cap, apron , masks are mandatory. Every one thoroughly sanitises and washes their hands before starting work.

Mahesh sleeps only for 2 hours a day, he wakes up every day at 2 AM ! He is the first man to enter the Idly making plant & he is also the last man to exit !

Mahesh’s inspiration is his Professor from his College days. The Professor once told him – “Aim and then fire is old method, Fire and then aim is the new method”.

Mahesh follows the Professor’s advice religiously !! ?
