These three books reveal great contributions to mathematics by Greek, Chinese and Arabic Cultures. Yet no Indian has ever published a translation of the GREATEST maths book ever! That’s Brahmagupta’s Brahmasphutasiddhanta.
The only translation of the maths in Ch 12 and 18 of Brahmagupta’s great book was by the Englishman Henry Thomas Colebrooke in 1817. (His father was chairman of the East India Company.)
Countries get the respect they demand! Why has no Indian ever done the research I’ve been doing? No wonder the world calls India’s invention the ‘Arabic Numeral System’. This is insane!
