Recently Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that the population control programme must go ahead successfully but at the same time, ‘population imbalance’ should not be allowed to happen. The chief minister said, “It should not happen that the speed of population growth or the percentage of some community is high and we stabilise the population of the `moolniwasi’ (natives) through awareness or enforcement.This is a matter of concern for every country where there is a situation of population imbalance,”.

Responding to this Samajwadi Party MP Shafikur Rehman came up with a statement to lash out at Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. He said “It’s Allah who blesses the birth of a child and will take care of his/her food and well-being”. So the basic question arises “Is Samajwadi Party MP, Safikur Rehman asking the Indian state to take all the special benefits enjoyed by muslims?”, Does he want all the special rights provided to muslim community by virtue of Constitution because of muslim community being a minority community ? Because by going through the statement of Samajwadi Party MP Safikur Rehman, Allah is there to provide everything needed to muslims, therefore there is no need in giving special treatment to muslim community.
