It’s funny to see China asking Sweden to respect religious beliefs of Muslims .On 20th of April Chinese foreign minister pointed fingers at Sweden and lashed out for not respecting the religious beliefs of Muslims. In Sweden, riots broke out in the Scandinavian nation over the burning of a copy of the Quran by anti-immigration activist Rasmus Paludan. Chinese Foreign Minister on Sweden riots over the burning of Quran said “Freedom of speech cannot be a reason to incite racial or cultural discrimination & tear society apart. We hope #Sweden can earnestly respect the religious beliefs of minority groups including Muslims,”.

It is known to everyone how China treats it’s muslim citizens and how much it respects the beliefs of Muslims. China is hell for Uyghur muslims . In July last year, the Chinese authorities detained more than 170 Uyghur Muslims for questioning after they offered prayers without permission during the occasion of Eid-al-Adha (Qurban Heyt).Human rights organizations, UN officials, and many foreign governments are urging China to stop the abuses, which the United States has described as genocide. But Chinese officials maintain that what they call vocational training centers do not infringe on Uyghurs’ human rights. They have refused to share information about the detention centers, and prevented journalists and foreign investigators from examining them. However, internal Chinese government documents leaked in late 2019 have provided important details on how officials launched and maintain the detention camps.
