Sanjay Raut’s residence has a contentious poster in front of it that was allegedly placed there by Shiv Sena corporator Deepmala Badhe. In light of the present political unrest in Maharashtra, the poster features the image of the Shiv Sena spokesperson with a Hindi Shayari.
“Teri Ghamand to char din ki hai pagle, Hamari Badshahi to Khandani hai,” reads the poster that likely contains Shiv Sena corporator Deepmala Badhe’s name (Your arrogance would last four days, oh fool, our kingship is inherited). Shinde previously stated that as a sincere adherent of Balasaheb Thackeray, he would never abandon the cause of Hindutva and that he would only remain a member of the Shiv Sena if the organisation formed an alliance with the BJP.
To resolve the internal conflict that threatened to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the neighbouring state, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray earlier yesterday sent two of his trusted aides—Milind Narvekar and Ravindra Phatak—to Surat for a detailed discussion with Eknath Shinde and other MLAs.
Shinde and other MLAs allegedly maintained that Hindutva was vital to them and that they would not compromise on it during their meeting with Narvekar and Phatak.
Eknath Shinde, the rebel leader who organised a coup with more than 35 Shiv Sena MLAs, is presently residing at a hotel in Guwahati, Assam.
