Quoting from a book is bigotry but Issuing death threats is not. It might look stupid but it is clearly mentioned in the guide book of leftists, “The World of Leftists”. Page no 72 of this book categorically states that if a muslim offers a death threat or a rape threat, this act must not be kept in the bracket of bigotry, but a hindu merely quoting some lines of the so called “Peaceful” book must be condemned and should be given the badge of a bigot. The application of this rule could be easily witnessed by going through the Nupur Sharma episode where none of the leftist came forward for nupur and raised their voice against Islamists who repeatedly poured rape threats and death threats upon her.

The Minorities Democratic Party (MDP) in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district sent death threats to Nupur Sharma, the BJP’s former spokesman, over her comments on Islam and the Prophet Muhammad on Sunday. An Islamic official named Mohammad Hamid, addressing at a press conference arranged by the Minorities Democratic Party, stated Sharma had committed a “crime” by speaking against the Prophet and that she deserved to be executed. As expected none of the flagbearers of peace or proponents of peaceful religion came up to condemn the death threat.

Mohammad Hamid, the president of Iman Tanjeem, an Islamic group, was addressing at a news conference arranged by MDP in Nagpur. Sharma, he claimed, had signed a suicide note by ‘attacking the character’ of Prophet. “For this ‘crime,’ there is only one punishment: death. Kamlesh Tiwari was killed five years after making derogatory remarks about the Prophet Mohammad. He was stabbed to death. Don’t expect to be forgiven .He threatened, “Never meddle with the 1100 volt current. Don’t think you’ll be forgiven. Do not ever play with the 1100 volt current”.

National Spokesperson of Bhartiya Janta Party, Nupur Sharma is being constantly attacked by Islamists. She is being bombarded with rape, death and beheading threats. Not only she, but her sister, mother, father all are being targeted by Islamists. Nupur Sharma has blamed the so called fact checker Mohammad Zubair for the threats she is receiving.

Mohammad Zubair must be held responsible for what Nupur Sharma is facing. Mohammad Zubair, a well known Hindu hater has shared an edited video of debate hoisted at Times Now by Navika Kumar where Nupur Sharma can be seen criticizing the prophet of muslims, Mohammad and can also be seen dismantling the myths of Islam as a religion. Mohammad Zubair very cunningly uploaded a specific part of the video where Nupur Sharma was seen criticizing Islam but not the full video where the other panelist who was a muslim criticised Sanatan Dharma. Also in the video shared by Zubair it could be seen that Nupur Sharma categorically mentioned that the other panelist must not insult other religious otherwise his beliefs will also be targeted.

Bhartiya Janta Party issued it’s official statement where it distanced itself from the words of Nupur Sharma. The statement said “Bhartiya Janta Party respects all religions. BJP strongly denaunces insult of any religious personalities of any religion. Di Bhartiya Janata party is also strongly against any ideology which insults or demons any sect or religion. The BJP does not promote such people or philosophy.” The statement is a shameful display of cowardice and a huge insult to freedom of speech.The party also suspended nupur Sharma for 6 long years. This was the time BJP needed to stand with its hardworking spokesperson who through her knowledge made BJP win many of its seats. But sadly BJP did the same with Nupur Sharma like they did with Bengal Karyakartas.
