Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (for males) or Rastriya Sevika Samiti (for Females).

I being a male I attend the sakhas of Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

In my association with Sangh, I learnt many things. In this piece I will summarize the learnings in just 3 lines and also try to quell some misconceptions people have about Sangh.

  1. First, Concept of Hindutva(Sanatan Dharma) and Bharat(India) are synonymous: What does that mean? Every person irrespective of his/her faith and way of worship is a Hindu/Sanatani. For e.g., even a Muslim man or woman doing Namaz or worshipping Allah BUT at the same time considers that his/her lineage belongs to India and takes pride in being descendants of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Rishi Valmiki, Aryabhata, Rajendra Chola, Chandragupta Maurya etc. and feeling fortunate to have taken birth in this celestial land is a Hindu/Sanatani/Bharatiya/Indian. But if (s)he identifies himself/herself with Querish tribe in which the prophet was born in Mecca or feels that (s)he is a descendant of Calpih Omar is “NOT” a Hindu/Sanatani/Bharatiya/Indian.
  2. Second, My guru is Bhagwa Dhwaj or the Saffron flag: Mohan Bhagwat is the head of RSS and Dattatreya Hosabale is the General Secretary. In any organization, you need a hierarchy for it to function. But neither of them is my Guru. My guru is the Holy and Celestial Saffron flag. Every one obeys the instructions given to him/her as Sangh imbibes strict discipline, but are not supposed to bow down before any one except the Saffron flag. Not only that, I give GuruDakshina every year to my Guru i.e. Bhagwa Dhwaj.
  3. Third, Equality and your talent only matters for growth: Many people accuse Sangh of having only Brahmin Sarsangchalaks. That criticism is absolutely worthless. They have risen to that position due to their sheer abilities, not because of any caste, language or family affiliations. Sangh even has pracharks who are Muslims. All people irrespective of caste, creed, affiliation stand together, play together, dine together, sip tea together. Just as all students are the same before the eyes of a teacher, all occupy the same position beneath Guru Bhagwa Dhwaj. Just as there is Sangh for males, there is also Rastriya Sevika Samiti for females which builds character among the women folk. Just as we have Bajrang Dal for males, we have Durga Vahini for girls which are meant to be the the sword and shield of the Hindus. Unlike Congress, where you need to be a bigger donkey than Pappu and Pinki to grow, it is just the opposite here.

Because of the above reasons, Sangh is a largest volunteer organization in the world and has produced best nation builders like Vajpayeeji, Modiji or Advaniji etc.

No one can absolutely deny the fact that without Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh or Rastriya Sevika Samiti the concept of Hindutva would have vanished from this holy land. That’s why Gandhis, Mamata and Communists curse the Sangh.
