The so called farmers who are protesting against the 3 farm laws which were passed in the parliament with every constitutional procedure have called for a Bharat Bandh on 27th of September. The Kisan union body is observing the nationwide strike to mark the first anniversary of the three contentious farm laws passed by the Modi government in September 2020.

The President of BKU-BHANU, Bhanu Pratap Singh came up with an angry response to the announcement of Bharat Bandh. Bhanu Pratap Singh came up with a opinion that Bharat Bandh affects the economy of the nation and also affects the farmers in a negative sense. He said “Rakesh Tikait faction call themselves as “kisan neta & then announce Bharat Bandh, which affects economy & farmers. How does it even benefit anyone?”.

Bhanu Pratap Singh also lashed at the Rakesh Tikait faction by equating them with the ideology of Taliban. He said “They (Rakesh Tikait faction) want to follow in the footsteps of Taliban by continuing similar activities”.

Because of this call of “Bharat Bandh” the traffic was badly affected in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi as major highways were blocked by so called protesting farmers. The farmer protest till now has done huge damage to the country, on 26th of January Khalistanis under the garb of being farmers unfurled the flag the flag of Khalistan in the Red fort which was a moment of shame for the entire country.
