As West Bengal drowns deeper into the anarchical mismanagement of covid-19 scenario, she loses one of her beloved sons. Tapan Ghosh, the chief of Hindu Samhati lost his battle to the pandemic, breathed his last in a hospital near EM Bypass in Kolkata this evening.

Tapan Da, as Bengal dearly calls him, will remain in the league of the unsung heroes of Bengal. A proud Hindu that he was, will live in the lives of the people of Bengal. A person close to him said that the movement will keep his vision and mission alive till generations. The Hindu voices have got traction in the last decade in West Bengal in spite of unimaginable violence from ruling party in the state. Tapan Ghosh had the vision of a day when the right people in West Bengal will have the pen in hand. Until such time, Tapan Da lives on in the right hearts.
