Terrorist group PLA took responsibility of killings of Colonel, his wife & son, 4 soldiers in Manipur.PLA seeks cessation from India. It is led by principles of Marxism- Leninism & Mao’s ideas. But, it needs to be noted that, its political front RPF runs govt-in-exile in Bangladesh (non communist nation). The Manipur-based militant groups, People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the Manipur Naga People’s Front (MNPF), have claimed responsibility for the attack. PLA gets regular funding from China.

Yesterday ,Absolutely horrifying news came up from Manipur in which a Terrorist attack took place on army convoy in Churachandpur in Manipur. Commanding Officer of 46 Assam Rifles Col Viplav Tripathi, his wife and 8-yr-old son killed along with 4 soldiers killed in terrorist attack on convoy.

Terrorists first carried out IED blast to ambush the convoy of 46 Assam Rifles Commanding Officer Colonel Viplav Tripathi & then fired at the vehicles in Churachandpur, Manipur. The officer was returning from his forward company base to his battalion headquarters. It happened 3 Km from Deheng. In addition to deaths of 4 personnel of Assam Rifles, an officer, his wife, and 8 years old child, four other soldiers sustained injuries in the attack in Churachandpur, Manipur.

Chief minister of Manipur condemend the incident and wrote “Strongly condemn the cowardly attack on a convoy of 46 AR which has reportedly killed few personnel including the CO & his family at CCpur today. The State forces & Para military are already on their job to track down the militants. The perpetrators will be brought to justice.”. Defence minister, Rajnath Singh tweeted “The cowardly attack on an Assam Rifles convoy in Churachandpur, Manipur is extremely painful & condemnable. The nation has lost 5 brave soldiers including CO 46 AR and two family members. My condolences to the bereaved families. The perpetrators will be brought to justice soon.”
