V. A. Shiva Ayyadurai is an Indian-American scientist, and engineer. He holds various degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), including a Ph.D. in biological engineering. Shiva Ayyadurai was born in Mumbai and when he was seven, the family moved to live in the United States.

Ayyadurai is famous for his disputed claim to be the inventor of email. His claim is based on the software he wrote as a 14-year-old student in 1978 at Livingston High School in New Jersey. He had written an implementation of an interoffice email system, which he called EMAIL.  EMAIL was modeled after the communication system being used at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. In 1982, he registered the copyright for his software EMAIL. According to him, EMAIL represented the birth of the email that we know of.

Anniversary of #Email

In a recent tweet, Dr. Shiva Ayyudurai promised a platform that will destroy the Big Tech. The details aren’t available yet nor do we know anything of the claims. Only time will tell.
