Let the Almighty protect Us (The Teacher and The Student).
May the Almighty flourish us.

Let the Almighty make us wise enough (to apply our knowledge).
Let us work together sincerely. Whatever that we may learn, may that be useful to us.

Let us Not hate each other for any reason, and Let us only Love each other.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 1 – 3

 

The supreme person Narayana willed to create beings.
From Narayana emerged the Life principle.
From Narayana emerged all the mind and the senses.
From Narayana came the wind, the light, the water and the Earth, which became the Elements of the Universe.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 4 – 7

 

From Narayana came the Creator Brahma.
From Narayana emerged the Annihilator Maha-Rudra.
From Narayana emerged Indra, and all the Prajapatis.
From Narayana came the Twelve Adityas, Eight Vasus, Eleven Rudras and All Vedas.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 8 – 12

 

All beings emerged from Narayana.
Narayana sustains all beings.
Every being merges in Narayana.
Narayana is the eternal principle.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 13 – 16

 

Brahma is Narayana.
Shiva is same as Narayana.
Indra is also Narayana.

The Earth is Narayana, the Sky is Narayana, the Heavens are Narayana.
Time is Narayana, the Directions are Narayana.
Svarga is Narayana, Patala is also Narayana.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 17 – 24

 

Narayana forms the Inner and Outer Worlds.
Everything that exists is manifested by Narayana.
He is both The Past and The Future.

Narayana is spotless, ever-blissful, blemishless and non-dual.
Narayana is the Supreme Self, without a second. This is declared by Yajur Veda.
Vishnu pervades the entire universe, and it is He alone who exists.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 25 – 31

 

The Primordial sound ‘OM’ is uttered first
Next comes the word ‘NAMO’
Then comes the meditation on ‘NARAYANA’

‘OM’ is one lettered.
‘NA-MA’ is two lettered.
‘NA-RA-YA-NA-YA’ is five lettered.
These all together form the sacred mantra “Om Namo Narayanaya”

This eight lettered mantra is most sacred and King of All Mantras.
One who chants this with faith will get good health and long life,
They will become Prajapati and get all Prosperity, and attain immortality under Narayana himself.
This is declared by Sama Veda.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 32 – 43

 

The Pranava is the supreme Blissful state of Brahma.
‘OM’-kara is made up of the 3 syllables — ‘A’,’U’, ’M’
Pranava alone supports the life in all beings.
Chanting this, spiritual seekers have attained liberation from the bonds of birth and death.
The one who chants the mantra “Om Namo Narayana”, attains the Abode of Heaven.

The Lotus Seat of Narayana is in The Heart.
The Knowledge of Narayana is Highest Knowledge.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 44 – 51

 

Sri Krishna, the son of Devaki, the one who defeated Madhu, is the Ultimate Brahman.

He alone resides in all beings.
He is both causeless and the cause of everything.

This is what the Atharva Veda reveals.

– Narayana Upanishad Verse 52 – 55

 

Those who chant this (Upanishad) in the morning, are redeemed of their sins committed in the previous night.
Chanting this in the dusk, redeems one of the sins committed during the day.
Chanting this in the noon washes the five types of sins.

One who studies this (Upanishad) will attain the merit of the Study of all Vedas.
He attains oneness with Lord Narayana.

This is what is revealed by the Narayana Upanishad and needs to be known by everyone.
