On Friday, ISKCON temple and their devotees were being attacked by the Islamist mob in Noakhali district of Bangladesh. The ISKCON Mandir which is situated in Noakhali in Bangladesh was set on fire by the Islamist mob.There are reports of non-stop violence against Hindus in the country.

ISKCON member, Partha Das was brutally killed yesterday by a mob of over 200 people, his body was found in a pond next to the temple.Vrajendra Nandan Das who is the Director of ISKCON National Communication on Bangladesh mob attack in temple said “Those who attacked were terrorists, goons belonging to the majority community. Our 3 devotees were killed. Bangladesh govt should take action to prevent such incidents in future”.

On Wednesday, communal violence broke out in several places in Bangladesh after news broke on social media about the alleged desecration of the Quran at a Durga Puja venue on the bank of Nanuar Dighi.Several puja venues were vandalized in the area of Chandpur, Chittagong, Gazipur, Bandarban, Chapainawabganj, and Moulvibazar. Islamist mob came in huge numbers and destroyed many idols of Ma Durga, raped women and killed many Hindus. Hindus continue to be persecuted in Bangladesh.
