What happened with Nupur Sharma in Court was wrong from every front. The Apex Court was not hearing the case of blasphemy, so statements related to Section 295 A of IPC should not have been made. The Supreme Court was hearing the plea which was filed by Nupur Sharama where she asked to transfer the FIRs registered against her in many states to Delhi for investigation which was a legitimate demand. Justice Surya Kant hearing the plea had only the authority to make a verdict related to the matter and not wander around. He should not have made any oral statements related to the “Blasphemy controversy” which he was not hearing and had no knowledge about but still he pushed himself to utter unnecessary and ignorant statements without even hearing the case. Though none of the scathing oral observations made by the Supreme Court today against Nupur Sharma have made it to the actual order passed by the Court. The bench has simply dismissed the petition as withdrawn in a two-line order but still the oral remarks made by Justice Surya Kant gave a big blow to the freedom of speech especially of Hindus. Even after back to back murder of Hindus, our apex court doesn’t recognise any threat to Nupur Sharma. And also according to Milords, it was Nupur Sharma who was responsible for what happened in Udaipur and not Islamists. According to milords, the murderers of Kanhaiya Lal were actually the victims of discrimination, bigotry and hate unleashed by Hindus.

Also lets talk about the verdict . The verdict is as disappointing and ignorant as the oral statements made by the milord. Why is Nupur Sharma not entitled to clubbing of FIRs as a matter of right. Will there be multiple charge sheets, trials and punishment for the same statement? So Supreme Court wants Nupur Sharma to go to each and every High Court separately and obtain an independent judgement in favour of her. And the bigger question arises, in how many cases the Apex Court have rejected the plea of clubbing. Lets take a recent example of the Indian webseries “Tandav” which went up to clearly hurt the sentiments of Hindus. The web series was facing multiple cases for insulting the Hindu sentiments and Supreme Court had issued an order for transferring & clubbing the FIRs. So what’s so different in case of Nupur Sharma ?? The highest court is busy appeasing the lowest common denominator living in ghettos !!!
