Communal tension has spread in Bhuj ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kutch in Gujarat. The reason for the spread of tension is Suleman Sana stabbing a person named Suresh Rabari with a knife. After this, there was a fierce ruckus in Madhapur village on Friday (28 August 2022).

Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to go to Bhuj on Sunday (29 August 2022). He is about to inaugurate ‘Smriti Van’ to pay tribute and remember those killed in the earthquake in Kutch there. Where there is Smriti Van, the distance of Madhapur with communal tension is only four kilometers. In such a situation, the administration has become strict.

It is being told that the age of the deceased Suresh Raibari was 20 years and he was a resident of Madhapur. At the same time, Suleman, accused of murder, is being told of Kotaknagar. It is being said that on Friday morning there was a dispute between the two over a hotel on Madhapur Highway. However, both later returned home.

In the afternoon, Suleman called Paresh to meet him near Lohana Samajani Wadi near Madhapur Bus Stand. When Paresh reached there, Suleman stabbed the knife he had brought with him in Paresh’s chest and left in a bloody condition and fled.

The villagers came to a boil as soon as they learned about Paresh’s death. A large number of villagers and leaders reached the hospital. The relatives also refused to accept the dead body. As soon as the police got information about the incident, a large number of forces reached the hospital. The IG of the area also reached and tried to pacify the accused by assuring him of arrest.

However, people were not ready for this. Shortly after the police arrested the accused Suleman. After this the relatives took the dead body and reached it for the last rites. During this a large number of people were also present.

It is being said that when people were returning home after performing the last rites, the anger of the people flared up. Angry people made some shops their targets. It is also being said that the Mahjabi site of another community has also been targeted by the mob.

Police Inspector Karan Singh Vihol says that the tension subsided after the arrest. He said that in view of the tension and the situation, teams of State Reserve Police (SRP) and Rapid Action Force (QRT) have been deployed in the village.

On the other hand, after arresting Suleman, the police is interrogating him. Police have found out what is the motive behind the murder. According to the report, Paresh Rabari used to sell milk. At the same time, the police have increased patrolling in the area.
