When you hear the name of Nalanda University and are reminded that it was burnt in the 12th Century by a Muslim invader in Bharat (that is now India)  who also murdered all 12,000 students and faculty of the University possibly hoping that he has finished Hindu culture from this land, that mentality is given a tight slap by rebuilding new Nalanda University in Rajgir (ancient Rajgrih). Unfortunately, after Prophet Mohammad demolished Hindu murtis in Kaba hoping he has finished Hindu practice of worshipping God with Murtis, many of his followers have attempted the similar. The ruins of ancient Nalanda in Bihar and ‘Sanchi ke Stoop’ in Madhya Pradesh and many Hindu temples across India loudly cry the same till date. (Incidentally, as a main ritual, pilgrims to Mecca pelt stones on three pillars that signify Satan (devil) https://www.islamicfinder.org/news/the-story-behind-the-stoning-of-satan-during-hajj/.)

India has set up a new Nalanda university. It is an avant- garde University. Avant-garde, a French term, means advance guard, that is innovative, cutting edge, ahead of its times.

The Nalanda University aims to revive the ancient glory of the historic Nalanda as an international institution for pursuit of intellectual, philosophical, historical, and spiritual studies.

It is important to note it is a joint effort of  a number of countries. Along with India, there are 17 Participating Countries in this endeavor – Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Mauritius, Myanmar, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. By joining hands all those countries have loudly and clearly rejected that barbaric mentality of Islam of destroying Hindu cultural signs in Bharat.

The people and place of new Nalanda University signify the indomitable spirit of Hindu culture. Nalanda university is being revived after 900 years. It is a 455 acre University. Interestingly, it does not take water or electricity from the city. It is self-sufficient and demonstrates sustainability. It’s infrastructure is one of the best in the world. The quality of faculty, students, and the construction material used are a fair indicator of the quality of leadership of this university. In my opinion, Nalanda University Dham is added to 68 dhams (pilgrim centers) in India for Hindus  of the world.

As per legend, when ancient Nalanda University was being burnt, there were some scholars who were trying to memorize select texts. What a  backup! You can burn a book, but you can’t burn knowledge like you can burn a body but you can’t burn its reputation.

Hindus culture having third largest following in the world today demonstrates that it is completely mindless and brainless to demolish signs of Hindu culture like murtis, mandirs and killing followers of Hindu culture. Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, UP, rebuilt after 500 years, Nalanda University in Rajgir, Bihar, rebuilt after 900 years and Hindu religion thriving as the third largest religion of the world after Aurangzeb beheaded Guru Teg bahadur  ji and his followers 750 years ago for not converting to Islam.

I will rise from the ashes, is the message of Hindu culture through rebuilding Nalanda University and the Ram Mandir. You can put me in bondage, but I will never be bound by you. Over years, I have also realized. You were not strong. You used a better weapon. I will now have better weapon than you. Hindus are blessed with indomitable spirit. Don’t ever mess with Hindus. The whole world appreciates Hindu culture and values. The sooner radical Muslims realize, the better. We were divided and ruled. But now no more. We have realized, ‘Ek hain to Safe hain’, ‘Batenge to Katenge’.

The ruins of ancient Nalanda University lay not too far from New Nalanda University. It was uplifting to note that on average 20- 25 thousand people from around the globe visit the ruins every day and shame that invader and that mentality.
