There are overwhelming complaints of Muslim men trying to entrap Hindu girls and blackmailing them for money, eventually forcing them to convert to Islam and sometimes even pushing young girls in sex trade or other criminal activities.

A minor girl complained to the Delhi Police in RK Puram, Delhi that an Instagram handle run by a stalker was morphing her pictures. The girl also complained that the man was demanding nude pictures of her.

Investigation in to this stalking case led to the arrest of a 19-year-old Muslim youth named Rahim Khan from Haryana’s Faridabad district as informed by the police on Wednesday according to a IANS report. 

Rahim Khan’s confessions has revealed that he had shockingly blackmailed in the same manner more than 50 girls and women across India as per the report. 

Deputy Commissioner Of Police (DCP) Southwest Delhi, Mr Ingit Pratap Singh said, “We received a complaint at R.K. Puram Police station and accordingly, a case U/s 14 of POCSO Act and 67B IT Act was registered and investigations were taken up.”

 A police succeeded in establishing Rahim Khan’s identity and whereabouts by detailed inquiry and seeking details from Instagram by the Cyber Cell team of south-west Delhi.

 A police team was formed and with the help of technical surveillance, Rahim was nabbed from his house in Faridabad district as reported by the IANS

There is a need to spread large scale awareness in the society to avoid minor girls and young women falling in the trap of predatory jihadi groomers, organised or otherwise to ensure their safety and security.
