As the majority of Hindu Americans are drifting away from Democratic Party, and sensing its prospects in battleground states, socialists in the Democratic party have arranged a meeting with House Representative Raja Krishna Moorthi to woo Hindus in a big way to garner votes. Hindu Americans are now key in battleground states to swing the prospects of Democratic party. Unlike, 2016 elections, Hindu Americans are increasingly alarmed due to frequent anti-Hindu rhetoric by far left radicals in Democratic party.

Democrat House Rep. Raja Krishnamurti in a virtual meeting to woo Hindus

House Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi in his keynote address reminded Hindu Americans to follow Dharma and exercise their franchise. During the talk, he said,  “I feel it is so important to elect Joe Biden because of the Hindu moral value of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ (The world is one family) a core tenet of Hindus — we believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect,” . He stressed, “Not only Florida, but Virginia and Pennsylvania and Michigan and Wisconsin, and the list goes on and on. “It is our duty, indeed it is our dharma to vote,”. 

Clearly, the Democratic party is in dire need to woo Hindu Americans who have become vital for swing states.Taking the advantage of current scenario of Black Lives Matter and the violent protests across the United States, the meeting was organized to draw attention among Hindu Americans specifically on hate and how the temples can be protected. Launching the event, Niki Shah, the Co Director of New Jersey Chapter for South Asians for Biden emphasized the need to elect Biden to avoid hate crimes and vandalism. Speaking in the virtual event, Machmud A. Makhmudov policy analyst for Joe Biden, emphasized that  “It is my very strong belief that when we have that phenomenon going on, that we have a president that has an actual plan… Biden is going to make sure there are the resources we need to fight hate crimes,”. One interesting aspect was that Machmud A. Makhmudov is a Rhodes Scholar, a Muslim immigrant from Uzbekistan, speaking on Hindu policy was rather absurd and doesn’t make sense due to various obvious reasons.

Holi Against Hindutva Organized by Radical Progressive Left..

As the whole intent of Hindu Americans drifting to Republican party is due to the Radical Democrats along with Islamists in the party ran frequent Hindu phobic rants with Anti Hindu rhetoric in every sense that has irked thousands of Hindus. Islamists in the Democratic party, ran an online petition to remove Amit Jani from Biden’s campaign just because he is a Hindu and his family has a good rapport with India’s ruling Prime Minister. Not limited to this but radical progressives along with Islamists from the South Asian community have arranged a smear campaign on Hindu festival  “Holi Against Hindutva ” in various universities with hate and bigotry against Hindus and India. Certainly, Calling Hindus as Fascists and likened to Hitler’s Nazi, have made them increasingly insecure as their faith was targeted. 

Kent Hindu Temple in Seattle Metro area was targeted in 2015 apart from Bothell Hindu Temple within a span of two weeks.

While the event was focused on Preventing hate crime and protecting Temples, the speakers in the event selectively ignored the fact that in 2015, within a span off two week period, two hate crimes targeting Hindu Temples located in Bothell and Kent were reported. Both these Temples are in Washington State which is a  Far Left Democratic Controlled State.  The year 2015 was worst among in targeting Hindu Temples, earlier in the year, a murti of Shiva at the Vishwa Bhavan Hindu Mandir in Georgia state was desecrated with black paint. The phone lines of the temple in Monroe were cut and graffiti with hate messages were written on it. Between July and October in Loudon County in Virginia, police documented 17 separate incidents of anti-Hindu vandalism. Also, in 2015, a sign board for a planned Hindu temple in North Carolina had over 60 holes in the sign board. Not limited to this, In October, 2012, vandals broke into the Schenectady Hindu Temple in New York, and caused about $7,000 in damage to the Pleasant Street facility. It was the third time the temple was vandalized in seven months and surprisingly, these happened during President Obama’s administration.

As we go through, Socialist Democrats are selective in every perspective and ignore the facts that happened during President Obama’s administration. Thus, the incidents of hate and crime against Hindus specifically in Democratic Controlled States are alarming as normally Blue states has high amounts of socialist activism filled with communist ideology and normally Hindus are the easy targets.
