“Is Kashmir changing ?”, this question comes into the mind of every Indian in a day or two. Every Pro Civilizational person must have taught the picture of changing Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 but the pictures which came from Kashmir yesterday turned the faces of every Indian down. Terrorist Yasin Malik who was responsible for the genocide of Hindus on Thursday officially convicted by a special NIA court in Delhi in a terror funding case .The Court found him guilty of offences under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and for offences of conspiracy and sedition under the Indian Penal Code.The hearing on quantum of sentence took place on 25th of May and Yasin Malik was given the sentence of life imprisonment. In support of Yasin Malik, Kashmir was bandh , all the shops were closed and local muslims of Kashmir were seen protesting in support of Yasin Malik who mercilessly killed Hindus for the faith they practiced.

After all these the narrative of “Naya Kashmir” is facade. Until and unless the demographics of Kashmir is not made to change no positive change could be witnessed in the valley. You would think Kashmir is bandh today because today a cop made supreme sacrifice while fighting terrorists or for Rahul Bhat, who got killed right in his office a few days ago. But no! It’s in support of Yasin Malik who was responsible for the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. Making Article 370 defunctional paved a way for demographic changes but unfortunately the current dispensation failed to make full use of the historical decision.
