Senior Trinamool leader and Mamata Banerjee’s favourite Madan Mitra, made abhorrent statements against Bhagwan Parshuram and Devi Sita during a live television debate. Madan Mitra said that Bhagwan Parshuram would not eat food without beef and Devi Sita herself cooked it for him.
It has become very fashionable to concoct lies and fabricate stories on Ramayana and Mahabharata to suit the Abrahamic dietary preferences to justify despicable slaughter of cows. This trend was started by communist distorians like Romilla Thapar, DN Jha etc. in their so-called academic exercises to aid conversion of Hindus to Abrahamic faiths or wean them away to murderous communist ideology.
Now this pattern has also emerged among politicians, who till twenty years back tried to stay away from making such provocative statements which hurt Hindu sentiments. Although such crass statements were heard from Islamist Jihadi leaders like Assaduddin Owaisi and his ilk.
Now, with Mamata Banerjee wanting to sponge all the Muslim jihadi votes in Bengal, and openly taking offence to any Hindu hailing his or her Aradhya Dev Prabhu Shri Ram by saying, “Jai Shri Ram”, she has sent message to all her party colleagues to abuse all Hindu Gods to remain in her good books to get party tickets to fight Assembly elections in W.Bengal.
Mamata had gone to the extent of booking criminal cases against people who raises the slogan, “Jai Shri Ram”, virtually turning West Bengal in to an Islamic Centre. Mamata even walked out of a program attended by PM Modi to commemorate the 125 Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, because somebody from the audience had raised the slogan, “Jai Shri Ram”
Emboldened by all this, Madan Mitra now has openly abused Mata Sita and Bhagean Parashuram perhaps for getting patted by Mamata Banerjee and starting some beef manufacturing business. Some years back the leftists famously held beef festival in Kolkatta to insult, ridicule and provoke Hindu sentiments.
Madan Mitra made these despicable comments during a debate in Zee @$ Ghanta on the 28th of January at about 9.30 pm. It is highly shocking that in a country where Hindus are in majority and Gau Mata (The Holy Cow) is worshipped, we have politicians openly endorsing butchering cow and consume it as food. It is very sickening for Hindus to hear such statements from politicians who are supposed to be representatives of the people and mirror their sentiments.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has filed a criminal complaint against the nauseating remarks at the South Port police station. The complaint letter stated, “Such derogatory remarks are highly shameful and grossly unacceptable for any Hindu who believes in Ramayana, Dashavatar of Lord Vishnu and Cow-worship.” The BJYM further stated in its complaint that the comments are punishable under sections 295A and IPC 153A and requested the police to initiate legal action.
Madan Mitra also said in the debate that he would approach the High Court to have the ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogan banned. “Jai Shri Ram, we have to ban this slogan. I am going to the High Court. This is Bharatvarsha. Why are you saying Jai Shri Ram? You are excluding Sita. Can there be Ramayana without Sita? It means you have been trying to implement the NRC from the beginning.”
BJP’s Arjun Singh, who participated in the same debate, commented on Madan Mitra’s disgusting statements on Sita Mata and Ravan by saying, ‘We cannot expect better from Madan Mitra. The culture he is a part of cannot distinguish between mother and wife. He belongs to Mamata Banerjee. That is why she in such a situation.’
Hindus need to unite across all political parties and stamp out such crass and despicable behaviour of political leaders, media persons, actors, comedians etc. who consider Hinduism as a free game for all and sundry to abuse, they should be made to pay for dearly by ostracization economically, socially, politically and by legal actions.
