The arrests of BJP and Hindu organization members have once again demonstrated the Dravidian stock government’s blatant partisanship. Their only transgression was criticizing Andimuthu Raja, a former union minister, for his remarks on Hindus and Manu Smriti. However, the police are concentrating on BJP despite complaints from all over the state calling for action against A Raja.
The disgusting 2G scam accused A Raja has used the tried-and-true Dravidian and missionary tactic of demonizing Tamil Brahmins and dividing Hindus by placing them against other Hindu communities. He singled out and attacked the Tamil Brahmin group during the DMK’s “Mupperum Vizha,” claiming that they were “Sanatana Hindus”. In contrast, other Hindu communities like the Gounders, Vanniyars, Thevars, Chettiars, and Nadars are “Saamaniya (common) Hindus.” The following people are not angry: Gounder, Chettiar, Naidu, Nadar, and Vanniyar, according to Raja. Who is angry? (Brahmins) Avaal. The Dravidian Stockist term “avaa” or “avaal” is used to denigrate and stereotype the Tamil Brahmin group.
Raja, a 2G scam accused, alleged “The last traces of Brahminical powers can still be seen in temples, despite the fact that science and the “Dravidian Movement” have destroyed caste-based professions. During the Chola period, Brahmins occupied the territories of Mukkulathors (Thevars), Paraiyars, and Pallars as Chaturvedimangalam villages and then implied that members of the Tamil Brahmin group were “freeloaders.”
The DMK MP brought up the myth of the Aryan invasion, stating, “Getting everything for free and squatting here coming from far-off regions ruling in the name of religion, today you are saying there should be no freebies. You refer to us as Hindus’ foes. I’m unable to comprehend. You Brahmins, if anything good has occurred to Hindus in Tamil Nadu over the past 100 years, tell me who else is to blame if not for us, the Dravidian Movement. Who halted it when the reservation for Mukkalthors, Nadars, Vanniyars, Chettiyars, Kongu Vellala Gounders, Naatu Gounders, and Mudaliars was introduced in 1951, not for the downtrodden classes who had received reservations from the British? Who are those two Brahmins who went to court to argue against the claim for reservations for these 50% Hindus? “Are they also Hindus?”
“From now on, let’s spread the myth that there are two Hindus,” said Raja. Sanatana Hindu, which is a term for Tamil Brahmins, is now considered to be our enemy. To the wretched common Hindu, who was victimized by caste, who endured oppression and depression without access to education and literacy, who was forced into slavery for hundreds of years, who was shielded by Periyar, Anna, Kalaignar, and the Dravidian Movement, we are everything. We are Hindus, but not in the way you mean.
“They’re threatening to sue me, claiming that I’ve said things that are defamatory. I am anticipating that day. Bring your case to me. If I don’t tear your skin off and expose you by reading your Manusmriti and Bhagavad Gita, I am not Kalaignar’s son,” said Raja. He made it seem as though he would use passages from the Bhagavad Gita to support his arguments in court.
Earlier, Raja remarked, “You’re a Shudra until you remain a Hindu,” during a speech at a Dravida Kazhagam gathering. As long as you are a Shudra, you are a prostitute’s son. As long as you stay a Hindu, you are a Panchaman (Dalit). As long as you are a Hindu, you are untouchable. How many of you want to continue having prostitute parents?
How many of you would like to be untouchable? Only if we speak out about these issues will they play a fundamental role in violating Sanatana (Sanatana Dharma).
Instead of placing A Raja under arrest, the authorities are now going after the BJP and its officials who denounced his remarks. Balaji Uthama Ramaswamy, the president of the BJP in Coimbatore, was detained on the 21st on suspicion of disparaging EV.
A Raja, a DMK Nilgiri MP, and Ramaswamy Naicker. He claimed to have made some remarks during a protest. Police responded to a complaint made by Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam. Uthamaramaswamy declared before being detained, “DMK squandering its power, instead of reining in Raja for his unacceptable speech against Manusmirthi, the government has arrested me.
I won’t back down from what I said. Under the SC/ST Act, the police reported him. Over 500 BJP members who protested his detention were detained by the police. Hindu Munnani leader Balraj was detained in Tirunelveli for condemning Raja.
The leader of the TN BJP, Annamalai, stated that party members who criticize Raja for his “controversial comment about Manusmirti” are being detained on suspicion of inciting riots. He questioned why Raja’s inflammatory comments wouldn’t cause social unrest but the BJP cadre’s denunciation of them would. According to him, police were bringing false charges against BJP cadres.
For putting anti-CM Stalin posters, the police detained members of the BJP’s IT wing Krishnakumar Murugan, Philip Raj, Sathyanathan, and Siva Gurunanthan.
