Former US President Donald Trump has said that if he wins the presidential election in 2024, he will take America’s ties with India to the next level. He said he would nominate RHC founder Shalabh Kumar as his ambassador to India if he is elected President of the US in 2024. The RHC on Tuesday released the video of Trump’s speech at the Diwali event on Friday. Speaking at the event, the former president said he has not yet announced whether he will contest or not, but if he contests and wins in 2024, he will have certain commitments to the Indian-American community.
Support of Hindus found in 2016 and 2020
Trump said, ‘We had a lot of support from Hindus both in 2016 and 2020 and also got the support of India and its people. I fully support the idea of building a Hindu Holocaust memorial in Washington DC. He promised that he would take US relations with India to the next level if he wins the presidential election in 2024. At the same time, Kumar said that Trump has been a true friend of the Hindu community and RHC is proud of the achievements made in the last few years in empowering the community in America.
