Since few months, the country is witnessing a Punjab political crisis or might say a Punjab Congress Crisis to be precise. Tussle between Navjot Singh Sidhu and former chief minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh is not coming at a stop. Around a month ago, the former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh submitted his resignation from the Chief Ministerial post and in his place Charanjit Singh Channi was being made the new Chief Minister of Punjab.
Navjot Singh Sidhu also on 28th September around 3 pm took on to Twitter posting his resignation letter which wrote “Smt Sonia Gandhi, the collapse of a man’s character stems from the compromise corner, I can never compromise on Punjab’s future and the agenda for the welfare of Punjab. Therefore, I hereby resign as the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. Will continue to serve the Congress.”
