The Legal Rights Observatory has red flagged that the Samantha Community Development and Welfare Society received a whopping Rs.14.38 crores through Foreign Contribution and spent it on conversion of poor Hindus in Andhra Pradesh.

The money was used to convert poor people in the East Godavari and Vishakhapatnam districts of Andhra Pradesh. It is pertinent to note that the Andhra Pradesh government is headed by Christian Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy whose brother-in-law is a well-known evangelist named Brother Anil Kumar. Anil Kumar is the Chairman of the Anil World Evangelism and has a website dedicated to his evangelist activities: www.broanilkumar.com

CM Jaganmohan Reddy openly gifts away Rs.5,000 per month to every Pastor in Andhra Pradesh with tax payers’ money. Reddy had declared that he would provide employment to 10 youths from every village as volunteers and pay them a honorarium of Rs. 5,000 per month to address the unemployment problems in the state. On the ground the only condition for being employed as volunteers by the government and payment of Rs. 5000 per month is: one has to be mandatorily a Christian. So, this initiative of Jaganmohan Reddy finds easy candidates for his evangelist brother-in-law Anil Kumar to harvest Hindu souls and deliver them to the service of Jesus.

This is a brazen misuse of Hindu taxpayers’ money to convert Hindus to Christianity . The Andhra government machinery thus provides a conducive environment for evangelist to operate with impunity. No wonder the Samantha Community Development and Welfare Society got 14.38 crores saying the funds would be used for community welfare and social development but actually utilized the funds for reaping a harvest of Hindu souls!

The Legal Rights Observatory has filed a petition to the Ministry of Home Affairs against Samantha Community Development and Welfare Society to cancellation of its registration as it has flagrantly violated the FCRA Rules. It is hoped that the Ministry of Home takes strict action against the same , cancels their registration and proceeds to take criminal actions against illegal conversions.
