In the last 48 hours, 5 different incidents of violence are reported in social media, and all are to do with atrocities committed against the Kuffar by state and ideology-backed terrorists.   3 of these incidents took place in Sindh.  The fourth incident involves members of Sikh community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, where a young girl has been abducted four days ago.  The girl who holds a Masters’ degree, and was working as a teacher in a government school, was abducted under the supervision of the Headmaster of the school, raped, forcefully converted, and married to a totally illiterate Pashtun Muslim.  The family of the girl and other community members are protesting in their small town in Buner district and demanding that their girl is returned to them.  They are alleging that the administrative authorities of the city are also involved in the incident.  On the other hand, a video has been released of the girl Dina Kaur who is 25 years old, where she is made to make a statement in favour of the abductors.

In Rohri, Sindh, a Dharamshala was attacked and its caretaker Ashok Kumar Bajaj as well as the people staying there were injured.  Mr. Bajaj and other Hindu community members held a press conference at the local press club and stated that this is a conspiracy to take over the Mandir and Dharamashala.  He said that if this kind of attacks continued, then the local Hindu community will have no option but to leave their ancestral land with folded hands.

Bheel Hindu residents of a village in District Tando Jan Muhammad, Sind are in facing a number of problems.  There is a flood-like situation in the area owing to heavy rains which is having in impact on their daily lives.  Additionally, the Pashtuns who are settled in their area, dislodged the railway tracks to turn the flow of water towards the houses of the Hindu community.  There was a scuffle between the two sides and in the process, women and children from the Hindu community also suffered injuries.

In Hyderabad, Sindh two separate incidents took place including an attack on a Mandir.  Terrorists from the peaceful community attempted to attack a Mandir in Sireghat Market, which was thwarted by the police.  The video from the other attack is shared widely all over social media today, which involves a false allegation of burning pages of Quran and then demands from the terrorists to burn the whole family of the alleged blasphemy accused Ashok Kumar for burning the pages.  The crowd in the video looks to be 2000 plus strong, all crazily charged chanting slogans of Sar Tan Se Juda.  People can be seen trying to scale the walls of the apartment building in an attempt to get to the flat of the accused.  The mind keeps wandering towards all the girls in these families, at what might be going through their minds, and the minds of their mothers when they heard and saw the frenzy outside.  What about their young children?  Were they able to sleep last night? Will they be able to sleep for many nights to come without having nightmares?  Will they now become an easy target for the locals when they go about their daily chores? School? Work?

According to local sources in Hyderabad, Pakistan, Ashok Kumar who is in jail right now, is not a sweeper but holds a small business in the area. The FIR falsely mentins him as a sweeper and the whole story written in the FIR is baseless. The facs are like this: one Pashtun, who lives in the same building as the Hindu community, has been forcing Ashok to sell his flat. Upon his refusal, this fake accusation has been created.  The area where this incident took place is Saddar Cantt. which is a good locality and the flat is worth around 2 Crore PKR, or 80 lac INR.  The attack on the locality was instigated and supported by a local extremist terrorist party called Tehrik e Labbaik (TLP).  A video of a member of TLP is also doing the rounds in which he is saying that Hindus should be tortured wherever they are seen. Today, the TLP goons have forcefully shut down all the shops in the market. Many of these shops are owned by Hindus. The family of Ashok is saying that we dont even have a Quran so how can we burn it.   Now the bigger issue is, there will always be a threat to Ashok and he may be forced to sell his flat for a much lower amount than the market price because him and his family are now ‘marked’.  Not only this, the Hindu families living in this building own shops in the market which the Pashtuns want to forcefully take over. The TLP is backed by the Pakistan Army and so are the gangster-styled Pashtuns who are settled inside Sindh on purpose.  Their aim is to harass locals, specially Hindus and convert them, force them out, take over their property.

At the same time, a newspaper here has circulated a concocted news item quoting a certain ‘activist’, claiming that 1500 Hindu Pakistanis have gone back, blaming it on the government of India.  The same news had appeared in some newspapers a couple of months ago and it was ascertained that the reasons for these people going back had nothing to do with the government of India. Many families are unable to settle in India and they change their minds, others have some family members left in Pakistan and they decide not to continue living without them.  Further, the Pakistan embassy has increased the cost to renew passports, over which the Indian government has no control. The headline of this news article is completely misleading and the content is not giving any explanation as to how this is a fault of the government of India. Responsible journalism entails not sharing half-truths, as this would discourage any Hindus in Pakistan who are now desperately looking to migrate to India for the safety of their family.
