The AAP has formed Govts in 2 states – New Delhi and Punjab with a very healthy majority. Both states are crucial for India. One is the capital city, other is an important border state.

It is said, in case of Delhi, the Gandhis transferred the minority votes (which are their pocket votes) resulting to a AAP win. And after coming to power AAP gave a lot of freebies, did improve governance and has been able to retain power.

In case of Punjab, just 2 months before election, the Gandhis at the direction of Priyanka Gandhi installed a mercurial person as Punjab Congress Chief, made the incumbent CM (who was set to win) resign and installed their puppet as the CM. What happened? Congress was decimated and AAP recorded a thumping win.

If we look at AAP, the party came to power on an anti-corruption slogan, but never speaks against the following areas where the corruption is maximum and is the bread basket of the Gandhis? It speaks against a peon asking for bribes, but now on below areas where the corruption runs to lakhs of crores.

  1. Subsidies: AAP never speaks against the corruption in subsidies like food, gas etc. It even opposed the Aadhar law which directly attacked the corruption in subsidies.
  2. Mines: AAP never speaks a word on corruption in mines.
  3. Arms purchases: AAP never speaks a word on corruption in Arms purchases.
  4. Bad loans from banks: AAP never speaks a word on loot in banks.

It is for readers to decide if the party just uses corruption in offices to come to power so as to protect the big fish who do the maximum loot and keep the Gandhis alive in politics.

Rather the Modi Govt has taken many steps to break the backbone of the above corruption avenues.

Please read the the below article where I have explained as how the AAP is ideologically close to Nehruvian socialist ideology which is the main reason of poverty and backwardness in India.

Why are Gandhis doing so? My guess is one or both of the below:

  1. Gandhis are losing and Congress has shrunk greatly. Hence, they want to create another party who is ideologically close to them.
  2. Most of the Regional satraps dislike the Gandhis. The Gandhis therefore may be using AAP as a weapon to keep them in line. Punjab is the best example. Now Mr. Hooda is negotiating with Sonia Gandhi on AAP, probably pleading her not to give away the Congress space in Haryana to AAP.
