An old video of retired Supreme Court Judge Indu Malhotra has surfaced on social media. In this video she is lashing out at Communist for capturing Hindu temples.
In the video, the former Justice can be heard saying that he and Justice UU Lalit had stayed a similar order related to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The video is probably from outside the temple premises, which is being shared by many people and the former justice is being praised. She can be heard saying “Same is the case with these Left governments. These people just want to grab the revenue. They just want to capture because of revenue. Their problem is revenue. He has captured them all. on everything. But only on Hindu temple. So Justice Lalit and I had prevented this from happening.”
A very brave judge who took a strong Dharmic stand on Sabarimala with her dissenting judgement knowing very well that she'll be condemned as a traitor. CJI U.U. Lalit & her also gave the verdict freeing Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple from the communist control(to some extent). pic.twitter.com/vgrn9XDCbt

After this video went viral where some people are saluting the courage of the former justice. At the same time, some leftists are upset seeing this. He says that imagine how much she would be biased when the case comes to Indu Malhotra.
On July 13, 2020, the Supreme Court had given its verdict regarding the administration and right to its properties in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala which the former Justice is talking about. The court upheld the authority of the Travancore royal family in the administration of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple.
The Supreme Court, in its judgment, had said that the administrative committee to manage the affairs of the temple would be headed by the district judge of Thiruvananthapuram and would remain the same till the constitution of the main committee. The court had made it clear in the order that the royal family would have an important role in the main committee.
Let us tell you that retired Justice Indu Malhotra was the first woman advocate who was made a Supreme Court judge from a lawyer. She was the only judge on the bench at the time of the Sabarimala verdict who favored protection of religious interests over allowing women to enter the temple.
