Recently we saw the self glorification and claims by Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech. We observed their spat too. And we saw how they suddenly united for the common good.
Are we really to believe that these pharma companies have the welfare of the common man in their minds?
The approvals are coming through at the speed of light while generally it takes close to 10 years for any vaccine approval process.

And India’s efforts are being lauded by none other than Bill Gates, Tedros Adhanom… Very credible indeed!
And just in case we didn’t notice, Dr. Harsh Vardhan has been nominated to the Board of GAVI, The Vaccine Alliance.

Bharat Biotech has received massive grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Read more here.
The grants for Serum Institute of India are not unknown either.

What Next?
The massive drive will probably continue. As long as the vaccination is not made mandatory, it should be up to the individual to decide what is best for themselves without being influenced by the drives and the advertisements.
At the end of the day, side effects, if any, will have to be dealt with at the individual level and it will neither be “free” nor will anyone else be responsible!
