The whole country is busy celebrating the ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ on the completion of 75 years of independence, ‘Har Ghar Tricolor’ campaign is being run. But in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, the tricolor is being insulted. According to media reports, instead of Ashok Chakra, the picture of the moon star remains in the tricolor hoisted by the former head of Aurai Panchayat of the district. At the same time, another flag was hoisted next to this flag, which is green in color.

After the incident came to light, the police have registered an FIR after taking down this flag. The names of the accused have not been disclosed yet, keeping in view that the atmosphere is not spoiled in any way. According to the report, this controversial flag was raised on the night of 9-10 August.

On the other hand, BJP MLA from Aurai and former minister Ramsurat Rai has accused a person named Mohammad Israel of this incident. In a tweet accompanying this video on August 10, he wrote, “The Tricolor was insulted by former RJD supremo Mohammad Israel at Pakar Chowk under Aurai Vidhan Sabha of Bihar. The Islamic symbol Moon Tara is printed in the tricolor instead of the Ashoka Chakra. The culture of governance has started showing as soon as the government is changed.”

On the other hand, SDO Eastern Gyan Prakash has ordered the police to register a case against the former chief under the National Pride Prevention Act for insulting the national flag.
